Dates: September 1, 2 and 3rd Time: Friday 9/1: 6-9pm (bring dogs) Saturday 9/2: 9am-5pm (bring dogs/ lunch provided) Sunday 9/3: Scheduled 30min evaluation time per dog
Cost: $115 per team. This cost includes lunch on Saturday and the workshop book (value $30). The first three sign-ups will receive a dog toy!
Screening: Claudia will pre-register and screen all teams. CGC experience is of advantage. The books will be given out at the screening/ registration. The seminar is limited to 10 teams/ students. All dogs need to be current with rabies and will be required to show proof of rabies during the evaluation sign in, on Sunday 9/3.
Dogs need to be dog friendly and able to settle down and be quiet next to the owner during parts of the workshop. Dogs need to be calm and walk quietly and politely on lead.
Dogs that have had Schutzhund or protection training are ineligible to be evaluated for the Pet Partner® program. NO sick dogs.
Dog Equipment: No flexi leads, choke collars, prong/pinch collars or chains, leashes must be 6 feet or shorter. May use head halters/ halties, flat buckle nylon or leather collars, limited slip collars are okay.
Dog Comforts: Bring treats, a blanket, bed or crate for your dog’s comfort, water, water bowl etc. No bones or high value toys.
